WHAT WE TEACH

Our Arabic course is designed to build strong foundations across the four key language skills: Reading, Listening, Speaking, & Writing. Students progress through structured levels (Level 1 to Level 8), with the goal of preparing them for success in GCSE Arabic & Islamic Studies exams.

Our Islamic Studies programme focuses on the core principles of Islam & teaches how to incorporate these values in your daily life as a Muslim.

Our Quran programme places a strong emphasis on correct pronunciation & the application of Tajweed rules, ensuring students recite with precision & confidence.

HOW WE DO IT

At Iqraa, we have developed our own carefully structured curriculum to prepare students for GCSE Arabic and Islamic Studies. Our Arabic programme covers the four key language skills: Reading, Writing, Listening, and Speaking, while exploring a wide range of topics to help students understand and communicate confidently in Arabic.

  • Levels 1–2 build strong foundations in Arabic language and vocabulary.

  • Level 3 Introduction to Arabic grammar as well as basic speaking and writing.

  • Level 4 Focuses on Arabic grammar and extended writing.

  • Level 5 Continuation of Arabic grammar and acts as a Pre-GCSE stage, gradually introducing themes from the GCSE curriculum.

  • Levels 6–8 are dedicated to full GCSE preparation, ensuring students are ready for examination success.

In Islamic Studies, we cover Aqidah (belief), Fiqh (Islamic rulings), Seerah (Prophetic biography), Hadith, and Duaa (supplications) at all levels. Our aim is to instil a deep understanding of what it truly means to be a Muslim, and to guide students in how to live their daily lives with faith, manners, and purpose.

In Quran, students study a range of surahs appropriate to their level, with a strong emphasis on correct pronunciation and Tajweed.
